Port not showing up

There are loads of different causes of this which many solutions to are online. Earlier this week I had a driver issue with my Auriga, but I did was updating the drivers, uninstalling them, restarting, unplugging, you name it I did it. But then I plugged my Auriga directly to my computer instead of through a USB hub, and it worked! This was because I was using an unintelligent USB hub, which was causing problems. So my advice is to avoid using unintelligent USB hubs for your Arduino to connect to your computer with, because it can cost you a lot of time and frustration if you don’t!
